Sighing sadly, the boy kneeled in front of the gravestone, situating himself on one knee. Blue eyes slipped closed as he reached out and touched the stone, gently, as if he'd break it.

It had been two years— Twenty-four months —Since he last visited this place. A pang of guilt struck his heart as he realized that twenty-four months sounded a bit overdue... The man was his own father after all; and today happened to be the anniversary of his death.
